Short Mountain

This Native American site stands as a remarkable testament to the cultural and spiritual legacy of its creators, dating back to the Woodland Period around 1,500 years ago.

A serpent wall anchors the site, accompanied by over thirty petroglyphs and pictographs etched and painted onto the mountain’s boulders and rock faces, depicting several animals, including a jumping deer!

Among the discoveries, a knife scraper tool was found.
