Bear Spirit Mountain researchers go to great lengths to study and record these sacred Indigenous sites without disturbing them.
Extensive tools like Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) & Electric Resistivity (ER) are provided by a hired Geophysicist or Archaeologist.
Both of these tools utilize machines that emit radar pings into the ground that receive a return signal, creating an image of what lies beneath the surface. In this way, on a limited scale, they can observe what lies beneath the earth without disturbing the rock formations or other important structures.
To bring in such sophisticated technology is very pricy, therefore we will research first and analyze the if there is a real necessity to bring in such equipment for further testing.
