Bear Spirit Mountain!
Located on three interconnected mountains and stretching for five miles, the ancient Bear Spirit Mountain site, dated by archaeologist Jack Hranicky to approximately 15,000 years ago, holds a significant place among the oldest and largest sites in the Western Hemisphere.
Its features include an earthen mound that measures a whopping 206′ long, 60 feet wide, and 40 feet high, hundreds of rock burial mounds, nine serpent walls, dozens of ceremonial structures, over a hundred captivating rock art images presented as both petroglyphs and pictographs.
